What’s the most annoying thing about filling out and submitting a loan application, and then having to re-submit for a different vehicle? We here at Roadrunner think it’s the repetition.

Well, you can submit a vehicle loan application for more than one unit without all of that headache. This tool means no rekeying, no repetition, and no time wasted.

Like we mentioned above, Submit Different Vehicle is a great tool to use if your customer wants to compare rates. You could also find it useful when:
- They’re denied for one vehicle but want to try again on another
- They change their mind about what vehicle they want
- They got an offer with SafeRate, Roadrunner Financial’s soft credit pull product, and want to see what else they’ll be approved for – with no impact on credit score

Submit Different Vehicle will make your life easier in all of these situations by eliminating rekeying. When you submit an application through Octane, all of that customer’s info can be easily submitted in a new application with the click of a button.
The time you spend keying information is reduced AND your customer doesn’t have to tell you all of their info again. So the financing process is more streamlined for everyone.
Here’s how to use the feature
Once you’ve submitted an application on your dealer portal, go to the Work-The-Deal page. You’ll see the “Submit Different Vehicle” button under vehicle info; this is your new time saving tool.
Click this button and the page will become a drop down where you can change vehicle make, model, year, or condition.
You can even use the VIN decoder to submit for a used vehicle – every vehicle listed is Roadrunner-eligible.
Click submit and a new application for the selected vehicle will be submitted– all customer info will be copied from the first app!
No re-keying, no repetition, no time wasted. The more applications you can put in for one customer, the more they see you’re trying to get them the best deal. That’s less of a chance they’ll leave your dealership empty-handed.
